Pastor Josh and his family accepted the call of God to be our shepherd in February of 2009. He is a graduate of Word of Life Bible Institute (1997,1998) and Baptist Bible College (now Clark’s Summit University) in 2001.
Pastor Josh became a Christian at the age of four. Although he understood that he was a sinner and Jesus is the Savior, he spent the following years dealing with doubts and fears. It was at the age of sixteen that it was confirmed in his heart through the Scriptures that his salvation was truly based on believing what God’s Word says. The Lord then used him to lead in his church youth group and Christian high school. It was during these years that the Lord put a desire within Josh to pursue the possibility of being part of a church ministry. God trained him at WOLBI and BBC where he enjoyed practical hands on ministry experience. Following graduation, Josh went back home (Dauphin, Pennsylvania) and worked as a land surveyor to pay off any college debt that remained. In 2003, Josh married Julia from Waterloo, New York and they settled in Middletown, PA. During the following years Josh did an internship with his home church and learned many practical insights about the ministry. Pastor Josh looks at these eight years as incredible training ground for understanding people and how God might use him to more effectively minister to them. Pastor Josh enjoys working with his hands (carpentry, household fix-it projects, etc.), college football, and keeping up with his ever expanding family.
